Lucky Us Family--September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

Today I am sharing another layout I made using my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit.

This photo is of Mr Gulley, myself and my sweet grandees Zoë and Cameron.

I was inspired to create this layout using a Pagemaps September 2015 Sketch

I left the chipboard title raw added in a little chipboard heart, a wood veneer heart and finally a heart I punched out. I also added in another bit of that arrow paper popped up on foam adhesive along with a bow I created.

Another heart cluster here and popped up arrow. I also added in some gold and cream twine that was in my spinner on my desk.

Another heart cluster to the right of the photo along with a ticket/label cluster along with the Love This that I stamped out using scraps.

Stink Eye King--September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!

Today I am sharing another layout using my September 2015 CKC kit.

The subject of this layout is Mr Gulley...he's trying to give me the stink eye....but he doesn't intimidate me at all!

I used one of the 4x6 pocket page cards behind the photo, I just trimmed around the word today and then tucked the photo and mat behind it.

More arrows....I think I've used them on nearly every layout I've made with this kit.

I had a scrap bit of embellishment that I did a tiny bit of journaling on.

The title is a combination of 3 chipboard alphas that I used black paint on and then went over that with black stickles. I haven't pulled stickles out in forever!!

The subjects in these photos are my Mom and my grandees Cameron and Zoë.
I was inspired to create this layout using Sketches In Thyme #163

I stamped the arrows and the words "just saying..." along with the 100% Legit element, I then cut the Legit element out and popped it up on foam tape. I water colored the leaves that are mixed in with the flowers.

I again stamped the arrows and the words "so adorkable" along with the Awkward is my specialty element which I cut out and popped up with foam adhesive. finally I used a sharpie marker to write my journaling

September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing a layout I made using my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit.

This is a companion page to the layout I posted on Friday (I adore you). Shows my little grandee Zoë really getting into that dirt and digging all around.

I was inspired to create this layout using Let's Get Sketchy Sept Week 1 sketch

I added lots of scraps here along with a banner piece from the embellishments and the cork clouds I popped up with foam adhesive.

I snuck in a little washi tape here along with the gold ticket embellishment and the puffy black heart.

I took some of the banner pieces that were in the embellishment pack and added them here along with some of the tiny hearts I cut out with scraps.

And finally some more of the puffy embellishments and the cork camera I popped up with foam adhesive.

Life is Good--September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing another layout I made using my September 2015 CKC kit. I had lots of long strips of paper laying in my scrap pile so I piled them onto this page with some washi tape and then set about adding photos and embellishments.

The title is from a 4x6 pocket page card that I trimmed down for just the title.

I used some scraps to make the arrows. And I colored the wonky diamonds and covered them with liquid glass.

I even used bits of those leftover strips to do my journaling on. I added a subtitle with the blue alpha from my kit.

I cut out the half circle sentiment from a 3x4 pocket page card.

I Adore You--September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing another layout I made using my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit.

The subject in this photo is my sweet little grandee Zoë.

I was inspired to create this layout using the Sketches In Thyme #162 sketch.

I used lots of scrap paper on this layout. Not only from the scraps I pulled in but the scraps I have generated while scrapbooking with this kit.

I love that I was able to use 4 of my 5 washi tapes in this layout along with the puffy stickers that were in the kit. I also used some of the cardstock embellishments here, I just cut them apart and used half above and half below the photo.

I also used one of the gold circle shaped frames and cut it apart and used a bit on the top and a bit on the bottom.

Finally I added in the wooden tag with the heart already on it, I just added the burlap bow.

Love, Love, Love these 2--August 2015 CKC

Hi Friends!!
Today I'm sharing a layout I made for the Stuck?!Sketches Design team call, though I didn't make the design team, it's not going to stop playing along with them. I actually used my August 2015 CKC kit. The sketch I used was from the August 1st sketch challenge. If you guys have followed my blog for any length of time you know I am a sketch girl...even if this is your first time here....I'm telling ya....I'm a sketch girl!!! I can't think of a better way to save time and get more scrapping done than by starting with a sketch.

The 2 cuties in my photos are my 2 oldest grandees, Cameron and Shani. We took them to the drive in movies during the summer of 2014 and while we were waiting for it to get dark we played in the swing park on the grounds.

I layered up lots of scraps and washi tape along the top. I layered up a scrap and a 4x6 pocket page card as background papers.

I spray misted the wood veneer here, love doing that!

Layered up some embellishments and paper clips. The photo frame is backed with a bit of scrap 3x4 pocket page card that I chopped up to fit behind it.

The bit of journaling here is from a cut apart sheet.

You can see the spray mist I used on the background paper.

Here is a glassine bag that I made using a ton of scraps that I had on top of my desk, I just added it to the layout because it matched.

The journaling card was a cut apart and the bow on the top is one that I made using scraps.

Mom--September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

Today I'm sharing another layout that I made using my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit.

The subject of this layout is of course my Mom. LoL...I don't think I ever use a different title when I scrapbook cameo shots of here...it's always just Mom.

I was inspired to create this layout using Sketch~N~Scrap 20 from November 2012.

I wish now I had bought more packages of the flower embellishment...I'm really using them a lot and loving every time I do!!

I used the gold polka dot vellum behind the photo and then added the title to the lower right corner. I went over the sticker letters with a white pen to give them some added texture.

Today Love Deeply--September 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

Today I'm sharing another layout I made using my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit.

The photo is of my Mom, myself, my sister Mickey and sister Sandy. I did a couple of cameo layouts of my sisters last week.

I was inspired to create this layout using the  July 15th Sketch from Stuck?!Sketches

I layered up scraps and a sticker here along with a cork arrow. I used a scrap of glitter paper to punch out the gold tag shape.

The today is raw chipboard and I decided to just leave it.

I layered up some gold scrap vellum behind the wood veneer.
The arrow paper is from a sheet that I have continued to cut up and use on layouts this whole month. I've used some foam tape to add some dimension with it.

Finally I journaled directly on the background grid paper and added in one of my gold vellum bows.

Use Your Stuff Challenge #192--Fall theme

Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing my take on the Use Your Stuff Challenge #192 Fall theme.
I don't have any fall themed pictures yet but I do have some back to school shopping photos. I used my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit to create this layout.

This layout is of my son and his children on our back to school shopping weekend.

I used multiple cut apart cards and this pocket page card here.

Lots of layering elements here and also some of the homemade diamond shapes I cut out with my silhouette.

I used the large black letter stickers and the small blue letter stickers to create the title.

I created the home made diamond shapes on the silhouette and then used the watercolor I had in my kit to color them and then added glossy accents to the top to give it a raised surface.

More stickers and embellishments here.

Lots of layered elements here.

And finally the tag that says love here.

That's it for this weeks challenge. I hope you will head over to the UYS challenge blog and upload your project there because we would all love to be inspired by what you do with your stash!
