Good Morning...--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!

This layout was actually created for a challenge on the Victoria Calvan FB group. The challenge was to use a song title as the title to your scrapbook page.

I used lots of scraps on the back of this photo to layer it up.

I layered up bunches of stickers here and added some foam adhesive behind the Yeah sticker.

The journaling is done with a sharpie pen and it's the words to the song.

I even added some rub ons to this layout.

Finally the journaling about the kissy lips on his face/head.

Skyping & Scrapping--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

I'm sharing another layout using my June Scrap Stash kit which was inspired by the June 2015 Hip Kit.

I was inspired to make this layout using a Sketches for Scrapbooking idea book, Volume 1-1 photo sketch and of course I added 2 photos. I can't show the sketch because it's a sketch I bought.

I cut the bottom banner piece from a journal card cut out.

I used my exacto blade and fussy cut around the buildings to layer over the background papers.

The sun and clouds image was cut from a bit of paper and has been waiting on a place to make it's home until now.

Adore & Cherish These Girls--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

Today's layout is made from my June 2015 Scrap Stash kit.

I added the die cut to this layout, it wasn't initially added into my kit, and just added bits of patterned paper to the backside of it.

I was inspired to create this layout by Jen Schow's 6x6 Paper Pad Love Series Video #6 "Swing."

I sprayed the wood veneer with spray mist and added it to the layout.

I used bits of 6x6 pattern paper behind the die cut to add some additional color to the page.

I fussy cut the camera embellishment and added part of the title on it.

Finally I added a doily heart sticker onto the fabric flag.

Perfect Serenity With You--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!

I'm sharing another layout using my June 2015 Scrap Stash kit.

The overall background paper was my least favorite in the entire paper packet and I struggled with how to use it.. So...I added a piece of vellum over the top and toned it down and now I like it much better.
The inspiration for this layout came from Jen Schow's x6 Paper Pad love Series Video #5 "So Sweet". If you haven't seen her video series I would suggest you grab a cup of coffee and sit and enjoy it, I was so inspired to use up nearly a whole 6x6 paper pad!

I've had these chipboard phrases forever...years and years and years! I'm convinced that if you hold onto your stash long enough what is old will be new again and you will be able to use up those old embellishment's and no one will know that they are old unless you tell them.

The flower shape sticker has also been in my stash for a long, long time as well.

I actually smooched some mist on a package and then smooched it down on the paper, not entirely sure I like this technique, but I've been trying to try new things.

Again the smooched technique under this cluster and I left most of it exposed here, where earlier I tried to cover most of it up. LoL!!! I want to be a messy artist, but I'm not sure I'm there yet!!!

Just for You--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!!

Today I'm sharing another layout using my June 2015 Home Made Scrap Stash Kit. The photos from this layout are from

I was inspired to create this layout by the 6x6 Paper Pad Love Series by Jen Schow Process #3 Amazing Present. I used the 6x6 papers to layer up behind the photos and the embellishments.

I layered vellum over blue cardstock and then used washi tape to divide the page into a grid.

This is a photo of my father in law whose birthday we were celebrating.

I used the canvas font along with the mixed blue square letters.

Love that I was able to use more word/phrase stickers on this layout.

She is Brave--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am sharing another layout from my June 2015 Home Made Scrap Stash kit.

I love this layout, probably because of the photo.

The inspiration for this layout started with the 6x6 Paper Pad Love Series by Jen Schow Process #3 Amazing Present. I cut the 6x6 papers in half diagonally and used them around the layout. I used black ink around each paper for added cohesiveness.

I was able to use the last of the chipboard elements (oriental lettering) that have been in my stash for prolly 5 to 8 years! WoW!!!

I used a bit of Washi tape along the top and bottom with more word/phrase stickers and gold embellishments.

I used a gold phrase sticker on the photo for the title.

The photo is of my 3 nieces: Raela, April and Amanda.

I was inspired to create this layout using the 6x6 Paper Pad Love Series Process #2--Look at That by Jen Schow.

These are several cut aparts layered up here.

More bits of embellishments and stickers here.

Love these birdie stickers.

So Long Color--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

Here is another layout using my June 2015 Home Made Scrap Stash kit.
Yep...that's me in the photos with my hair down. I'm slowly letting the color grow out, it's been almost a year since I started but you really can't tell in the photos since I have my head tipped slightly back.

I was inspired to create this layout using the 6x6 Paper Pad Love Series by Jen Schow, it's video process #1 Sodalicious for any who wish to go have a look.

I used lots of border strips along the top and bottom of the layout.

More cut aparts and some scraps. I used a 6x6 paper behind the photos by cutting it in half and using it side by side.

I sprayed the wood veneer with the Heidi Swapp mist and the cut out on the left side is fussy cut with the flower cut to overlap the photo.

Remember This--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!

Today I am sharing a layout I made using my June 2015 Home Made Scrap Stash kit. The photo collage is of my husband's niece Stephanie, it was her graduation announcement.

The first photo is more true to the actual color in the layout, not sure what happened to the other photos.

I did add in the black cardstock on the background as well as the black textured paper.

I used a  cork frame here and added a few sticker and chipboard piece to the center. The background paper is from the 6x6 paper stack I added to the kit.

Love that I was able to add some of the gold embellishment's to this layout.

This is a cut apart piece that I added a gold heart to.

The photo is of me and my nieces April and Amanda. I'm not sure this is my favorite layout only because it's so loud and busy.

Favorite--June 2015 CKC

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am sharing a double page layout that I made using my June 205 Home Made Scrap Stash Kit. I love that it's a double page layout! I've so been getting into double pagers again!!

I used a Pagemaps sketch as inspiration. The photos are of different dinners and even a lunch along with my menu planning planner.

Page Maps November 2013 2 page 12x12 Sketch

Left page.

I used a 6x6 bit of striped paper and my favorite Stampin Up punch to create the border and added the little hexagon sticker.

I was even able to add in a couple arrow brads to this layout. I love that I am getting so much use out of the word/phrase stickers this month.

Lots of layers here. the coaster journal spot is quite old and I'm really happy to have finally used it here.

Right Page.

I really didn't think I would ever be able to use those really old little triangle chipboard pieces, just goes to show that if you hang onto it long enough you will eventually be able to use them your stash!!

More layers here.
