I cut a border strip sticker to go behind the photos.

I layered a very large acetate piece behind the journal page.

May 2016 Scrap Stash Kit

Hi Friends!

Today I'm sharing a kit that I created for May 2016 using the inspiration over at the Scrap Stash FB group.

I know I'm a little late to the party but I had taken the photos and I really wanted to share this beautiful kit. I hope it inspired some of you to create your own kit.
Here is the kit in all it's glory!! I know it's huge, not as large as some of mine tend to be but it's pretty bit.

Here are all the pattern papers and cardstock.

Lots of embellishments...

And more embellishments...

And more embellishments...

The papers are a combination of papers from CTMH.

Here is the embellishment pack that came in original pack, it includes vellum stickers and metal flowers, yes there are 2 packages of flowers.

Some additional papers from the CTMH Dotty for You collection.

This is the original paper pack called Brushed from CTMH, I had the card kit and the scrapbook kit and I had only used them to make one layout prior to pulling this kit together.

Lot's of Freckled Fawn embellishments.

Scraps from my scrap bin.

Washi tape from Recollections, Stampin up and CTMH.

Wood veneer from Maggie Holmes and Target Dollar Spot.

Bling from paper studio, CTMH, MME, and Want to Scrap, the epoxy pieces are old bits from forever ago and I don't remember where they came from

Letter stickers from basic grey and recollections.

Maggie Holmes bows.

Heidi Swapp color shine in chartreus.

The stamp with Oh So on it was actually part of the original paper kit that I bought from CTMH. the other stamps are also from CTMH.

That's it, thanks for visiting my blog today and I hope I inspired you to create a kit of your own from your Stash.

Have a blessed day!!

Radio Love

Hello Friends!!

Today I am sharing a layout I crated with my March 2016 Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit or my Scrap Stash kit.

The photos are of the radio with each of my son's name light up.

I added an epoxy owl to the hidden journal tag, of course it was so textured that the journal card would not fit in the pocket so I eventually took the owl tag off and just added a flat embellishment to the tag.

I added several scraps to make the banners and cut up some more of the hexagon cut aparts to add to the side of background paper.

I added another tag and some other paper embellishments.

That piece of post card has been in my stash for about 2 years, glad I could finally use it.

Lots of layers here. gold stickers, a clock sticker and a word sticker.

I layered up some fussy cut flowers here.

I used letter tile along the bottom to write their names and the date.

I layered up a journal card with a title block and used a piece of cut up hexagon here.

Cousins 6

Hello Friends!!

Today I am sharing a layout I created using my March 2016 Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit or my Scrap Stash kit.

The photo is of my Cousins Leigh, Heather, myself, my sister Angie and my cousins Lidia and Melody.

I was inspired t create this layout by using a sketch from Stuck Sketches on March 15, 2016.

I used a chipboard frame and a tag along the top of the photos.

I layered the other half of the chipboard frame along with another tag  below the photos, I added a paper clip to the tag and even added some ribbon to the tags, which I stapled in place.

Finally I used another embellishment with a tag at the bottom of the layout.

UYS Cahlenge #226 5,4,3,2,1--Train, Train at the Science Spectrum

Hello Friends!

This weeks Challenge is a 54321 challenge.  To start choose 5 patterns, then 4 colors, 3 photos, 2 (at least) embellishments and 1 washi tape...easy peasy right?

So here is the layout I created using my May 2016 CKC kit.
The photo is of my grandee Shani from 2012, she was soo tiny then, we were at the Science Spectrum Museum in our town and she was completely enthralled by the mini train set and watching the train go round and round.

I used several bits here that I have had in multiple kits, yes they keep getting added back into my current kits because I know I will eventually use them.

I used a tile alpha to spell out At The Science Spectrum.

The teal cameras are from a sheet of paper I cut apart years ago.

That copper tone circle piece is a die cut piece, from scraps, that I cut out years ago as well.

The yellow piece sticker under the camera has been in my stash since before Shani was born, I actually bought them for her baby album.

Finally the journaling is a leftover piece fro an old SEI kit.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and we would love to see your creations over at the UYS challenge blog.
